Yes, completely. You remain aware throughout, you can open your eyes at any time, and you choose what to share. Clinical hypnotherapy is nothing like stage hypnosis.

Hypnosis is not something done to you, it’s a natural state you enter willingly, like being absorbed in a book or daydreaming.

That’s completely fine. Guided imagery doesn’t require perfect mental pictures. The idea of a scene, the emotions, or physical sensations are enough. Many people with aphantasia benefit fully from hypnotherapy.

No. You remain in control of what you say and do. Therapeutic hypnosis is collaborative, not controlling.

It varies. Single sessions can provide insight, but meaningful change typically unfolds over 6-12 sessions. We will discuss this in your initial conversation. We can also adapt as we go.

The initial coversation will be 30 minutes. The first session is 90 minutes, to give us a chance to fully understand the difficulties you are experiencing. All subsequent sessions are 60 minutes.

Yes. Many clients are new to therapy and coaching. I’ll explain everything clearly at each stage and we move at your pace.
