  • What is Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH)?

    Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is an evidence-based approach that combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with therapeutic hypnosis.

    Hypnosis helps you to focus, quieten the mind, and become more open to positive, constructive suggestions. You remain fully aware, fully in control, and able to stop at any time.

    By blending CBT and hypnosis, CBH helps you manage anxiety, reduce stress, build resilience, and develop calmer, more balanced responses in everyday life. It focuses on understanding your thoughts, behaviours, and emotions, helping you move from survival mode into steady, confident living.

  • What happens in sessions?

    This depends on whether you choose Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH), Life Coaching (LC) or the Hybrid Approach.

    Across all modalities, sessions begin with a brief check-in before moving into focused work.

    In CBH Sessions:

    You’ll learn practical CBT-based skills and calming techniques to use between sessions. You may also receive a personalised hypnotherapy recording to support your progress.

    In Life Coaching:

    We focus on clarity, direction, values, and intentional action. You’ll leave with a clear plan or steps to apply between sessions.

    In the Hybrid Approach:

    We gently move between therapeutic work and coaching depending on what you need.

    All sessions are held via Zoom.

    This allows you to receive support from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

  • Will I lose control under hypnosis?

    No. You remain fully aware, alert, and in control throughout.

    Hypnosis is simply a state of focused, relaxed attention, not sleep, not mind control, and not surrendering power. You can open your eyes, speak, or stop the process at any time.

  • How much do you charge?

  • How many sessions will I need?

    This varies for each person and each modality. Generally it will not be more than 12 sessions.

    Some clients benefit from just a few targeted sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. We will discuss your goals and create a plan that feels right for you.
